HOW DANGEROUS ARE COVENTRY?
2 WINS AND COVENTRY UP NEXT. HOW GOOD ARE THEY? Will they expose our defensive frailties?

Have a feelin' that Saints can get at least a point at Coventry.
They lost again midweek didn't they?

Re: HOW DANGEROUS ARE COVENTRY?
Coventry lost 2-1 at Cardiff. They were 2-0 down and scored a late consolation.
Their results are comparable and nothing to fear. They look to be no better than a mid-table side.
If Saints can come away with at least a point at the weekend, then I for one, will be happy.

I'll go along with a no lose result to keep run going. Though Cardiff are expected to do well this season by some.

Not expecting Saints to cane the Sky Blues, but will be disappointed if we lose to them.

Re: HOW DANGEROUS ARE COVENTRY?
Well I guess we found out. Totally inept at the back and gave away possession far to easily. Back row failed to stick with the rest of the team and were over run time andtime again. we just did not play as a team. Coventry wanted it more and it showed. We should have scored more but so should Coventry.
We tried to play some pretty football but generally we were far too predictable. Jan must have said something at half time because we started even worse than in first half. We were spread too far apart and had no answer to their attacks. Surely our manager recognised our problem with the formation because it was clear for all to see. Not enough passes finding the target and yet again fluffing relatively simple covering positioning. We played without a clear strong leader and had no-one to pick us up.
The boys are just that and tried to keep going but as the game wore on it became clear that we were simply not good enough. This is a set back and one that hurts after our recent improvement. Brings us back down to earth somewhat. Hope we can regroup for our next game.
